This policy outlines the terms and conditions for the trial of ergonomic equipment through Ergo Experts. By accepting equipment for trial, the client (or their representative/insurer) agrees to the following terms and conditions.
1. Trial Period & Duration
We offer a complimentary trial period of 7 calendar days for all ergonomic equipment. This period is intended to allow the user to assess the suitability and effectiveness of the equipment in their specific workstation environment.
2. Extended Trial & Hire Charges
If the equipment is not returned or a purchase order is not finalized within the initial 7-day period, a weekly hire charge will apply. This fee covers the ongoing depreciation and the unavailability of the asset for other clients.

* Note: In certain circumstances, a security deposit may be required prior to the commencement of the trial.
3. Purchase Credit
We encourage successful outcomes. If a decision is made to purchase the trialed item, 100% of the total hire charges accrued will be deducted from the final purchase price.
4. Shipping & Logistics
The client or their employer/insurer is responsible for all logistics costs, including:
- Shipping fees for delivery to the client.
- Return shipping/courier fees if the equipment is not purchased.
- Ensuring the equipment is adequately protected during return transit.
5. Returns & Condition of Equipment
Upon completion of a trial where a purchase is not made, equipment must be returned promptly in its original condition. On receipt, all items undergo a formal inspection.
Please send via registered post / courier (with adequate insurance) & ensure the product is securely protected /wrapped before sending
Damage: If the item or its original packaging is damaged, a reasonable charge will be applied to address the depreciation or repair required.
Restocking Fee: In some circumstances, a 10% restocking fee may be applied.
6. Insurance Approvals
We recognize that insurance approvals can be subject to administrative delays. However, the hire charges outlined in Section 2 remain applicable regardless of the status of an insurance claim. We recommend that clients provide their insurers with a copy of this policy at the commencement of the trial.
